There is so much shopping during the holiday season, which can be fun but a bit daunting. To everyone out there putting in the extra hours & love to create the holiday magic, thank you! This includes parents making it happen at home, and groups, businesses & people bringing events to the community.

Here’s a few recent events that’ve made the holidays special in Salida:

• The Parade of Lights / Lighting of S mountain (the fireworks were so pretty)
• The Steamplant’s Pop-up Holiday Market (our local artists are all so wonderful)
• The Salida Theater Project’s Performance of “A Merry Little Christmas Carol” (great acting, and a nice reminder to appreciate the people in our lives. people > profits.)
• The Wilson’s Holiday Inflatable Sculpture Garden (you can check it out on Wood Avenue)
