I forgot to post this one last week, so we’re a bit behind schedule, but better late than never!
I recently filled in for my mom during a dance class and it was surprisingly fun. We could all use a bit of rhythm in our lives. Drawing this I was also thinking about how often driving puts us in an impatient mindset. When I’m driving I am usually just trying to get from point A to point B, whereas when walking- which for me tends to be more of a sketching stroll- opens the door to serendipity in a lovely way.
A couple songs I’ve been enjoying lately, about patience, are “I am” by Satsang and “Rest” by half-alive.
The driver, Karen, would be listening to “Sitting, Waiting, Wishing” by Jack Johnson though haha
I’ll be sending out the sequel tomorrow
